FSC™ Certified Timber

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council – Forests For All Forever): is a global not-for-profit organization that sets the standards for what is a responsibly managed forest, both environmentally and socially.

Environment - friendliness is always Avina Industries concern. A majority of our wood products comes from sustainable, well-managed forests, certified by Forest Stewardship Council™. The FSC™ labels on our furniture allow consumers to track the origin of each wood slats we used in manufacturing process.x² FXC®.

REGULATION

REACH – FOR EU market

REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals.
All of Khai Vy's products are none – formaldehyde, under the control of strict production and qualified to be exported to the EU market.

CPSIA – US market

The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) is applied in 2008, it increases the budget of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), imposes new testing and documentation requirements, and sets new acceptable levels of several substances. It imposes new requirements on manufacturers of apparel, shoes, personal care products, accessories and jewelry, home furnishings, bedding, toys, electronics and video games, books, school supplies, educational materials and science kits. 
The US Plant of Avina Industries is under audited by reliable third parties and qualified for exporting the product to the US Market.

The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a leading supply chain management system that supports companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories and farms in their global supply chains. BSCI implements the principle international labor standards protecting workers’ rights such as International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
